Job Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Children's Physiotherapist to join a dedicated paediatric service in Milton Keynes on an ongoing locum basis. This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact within paediatric and neurodisability services while benefiting from flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a neurodisability caseload for children and young people aged 0-19 years, including work on the paediatric ward

• Assess, plan and deliver specialised physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, child-centred care

• Provide education, guidance and support to families and carers to promote ongoing rehabilitation at home

• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional standards

Person Specification
Essential

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist

• Experience working within paediatric physiotherapy services

• Knowledge of neurodisability assessment and treatment approaches

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable

• Previous NHS experience at Band 7 level

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Milton Keynes area
