About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6/7 Orthotist to join a well-established Allied Health Professionals service in Birmingham. This ongoing role offers both part-time and full-time flexibility and involves working across multiple sites within the city, providing a varied and rewarding clinical experience.

This position is ideally suited to an Orthotist with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience who is HCPC registered and passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred orthotic care.

What you will do

  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and provide bespoke orthotic solutions tailored to individual needs.

  • Design, fit, and review orthotic devices to optimise patient mobility, comfort, and outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in line with service and professional standards.

  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities.

  • Provide education and advice to patients, carers, and families regarding orthotic use and care.

  • Keep up to date with advancements in orthotic technology, materials, and clinical practice.

Essential requirements

  • HCPC registration as an Orthotist.
