Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist – Paediatric Team in Guernsey UK, earning £40 Hourly. ASAP Start – Ongoing.

What you will do:
- Work closely with the Lead for Children’s Occupational Therapy to deliver high-quality services across the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
- Promote and incorporate Sensory Integration in your practice.
- Engage with children and families in various settings, including adoption, mental health, learning disabilities, and schools.
- Participate actively in service development and contribute to clinical and service audits.
- Develop and deliver bespoke training sessions for staff, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Supervise junior Occupational Therapy staff, students, and volunteers, ensuring high standards of practice.
- Manage and coordinate a caseload of children and young people aged 0 to 18 with complex needs.
- Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based intervention plans.
- Collaborate with young people, parents, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to set functional goals and measure outcomes.
- Preferably be a car driver to facilitate community visits and outreach.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Having a driving licence would be advantageous.
