We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehab Team in the picturesque seaside town of Seaham. This full-time locum position offers a competitive hourly rate of £26.35 and a contract duration of three months, providing you the perfect chance to enhance your experience while making a genuine difference in the community.

What you will do:

  • Manage a caseload that includes highly complex patients, providing specialist assessments within your identified area of expertise.
  • Deliver therapy interventions in community settings, including crisis response services, rehabilitation wards, clients' homes, and care homes.
  • Continuously assess, implement, and evaluate individual care programmes tailored to patients' needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, GPs, nursing staff, and allied health professionals, to ensure effective patient management and successful discharges.
  • Provide clinical education and training to staff within community services.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work across a variety of community settings.
  • Strong assessment, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary working skills.
