Exciting opportunity for a Band 6/7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist in Derby, UK, earning £30-£35 hourly. This role is based across multiple sites and is part-time, 2 days a week, starting ASAP with an ongoing contract.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in a high-support inpatient rehabilitation service for men in Derbyshire, where 15 out of 22 beds are currently occupied. You'll bring your experience to supervise an OT apprentice and collaborate with a full multidisciplinary team. A driving licence is preferable to facilitate travel between locations in Derby.

What you will do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services in a high-support inpatient rehabilitation setting for men in Derbyshire.
  • Offer supervision and mentorship to an OT apprentice.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with a full multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Track and report patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
  • Engage with and support patients to encourage active participation in their recovery process.


To thrive in this role, you need to be HCPC registered with at least 2 years of experience in mental health.
