Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

• Collaborate across UHS laboratories at RSCH, PRH, WH, and SRH, utilising your specialised knowledge in Chemistry automation, Special Chemistry, Haematology, or Blood Transfusion.

• Operate and manage advanced laboratory equipment including Roche, Abbott, Sysmex analysers, and others, ensuring precise and timely results.

• Work with Winpath and Qpulse IT systems for documentation and compliance, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

• Participate in quality control and troubleshooting processes, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

Training & Mentorship

• Provide training and guidance to colleagues, promoting a high standard of scientific integrity within the team.

• Share your expertise as a Training Officer, mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.
