Once trained, you will be covering night shifts and weekends, providing essential blood sciences services to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations

Work across multiple sites, including RSCH, PRH, WH, and SRH, and specialise in chemistry automation, special chemistry, haematology, and blood transfusion.

Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory analysers, including Roche, Abbott, Sysmex, and other industry-leading equipment.

Engage with Winpath and Qpulse IT systems to ensure smooth laboratory management and data tracking.

Conduct tests with precision, ensuring high-quality results to support clinical decisions.
Mentorship and Leadership

Take on the responsibility of training and mentoring junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping to guide them in their professional development.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary laboratory teams to deliver top-tier, patient-focused care.
Compliance and Quality

Maintain high standards of laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and professional guidelines.

Troubleshoot any issues with laboratory equipment or procedures to maintain continuous operation.
