We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer specialising in AHP - Imaging, based in the vibrant city of Brighton, East Sussex. This full-time ongoing position offers a competitive rate of up to £26.78 per hour and the chance to work within a specialist radiotherapy service using state-of-the-art TomoTherapy treatment units.
Working Monday to Friday with alternating early and late shifts, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatments while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer looking to enhance their expertise within a progressive and supportive environment.

What you will do
- Deliver accurate and effective radiotherapy treatments using TomoTherapy treatment units.
- Support patients throughout their radiotherapy pathway, ensuring a positive and compassionate care experience.
- Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of prescribed radiotherapy treatments.
- Carry out treatment verification procedures in line with departmental protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient wellbeing and escalate treatment-related concerns appropriately.
- Work closely with Consultants, Clinical Oncologists, Physicists, Dosimetrists, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote patient-centred care and provide information, reassurance, and support to patients and families.
