What You Will Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive dysphagia assessments for adults with learning disabilities, identifying individual care needs and intervention strategies.

  • Develop and implement management plans for support staff and family carers to ensure consistent and compassionate care.

  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, providing holistic care and contributing to tailored support plans for individuals with complex needs.

  • Deliver training and professional guidance to staff and carers on dysphagia management and communication support.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service audits and development initiatives.
