Band 6 Radiographer - Locum
Location: Lewes, UK
Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sites: Multiple locations

We are recruiting a skilled Band 6 Radiographer to join a busy imaging service in Lewes on a full-time locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer seeking an ongoing contract, competitive pay, and the flexibility that locum work provides.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plain film imaging services across multiple sites, supporting accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care. The role requires confidence using Sectra PACS and CRIS systems. Due to cross-site working, being a car driver is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Full HCPC registration (essential)

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a radiography specialism

  • Ideally at least 6 months' NHS experience

  • Strong experience in plain film imaging

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites

  • Car driver preferred

  • Carry out and supervise plain film imaging in line with clinical guidelines and best practice

  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and wider healthcare teams

  • Accurately record and manage imaging data using Sectra PACS and CRIS systems

  • Ensure patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality imaging services across multiple sites

  • Actively contribute to team objectives and service improvement initiatives
