Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients across all aspects of podiatry, with a specialist focus on diabetic foot care.

• High-Risk Foot Management:

  • Provide expert treatment and management of high-risk diabetic feet, including wound care, ulcer management, and preventative strategies.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary Diabetes Team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care.

• Clinical Governance:

  • Ensure all treatments and interventions comply with HCPC standards and current best practice guidelines.

• Professional Development:

  • Engage in ongoing CPD activities, staying updated with the latest developments in podiatry and diabetic foot management.
