An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) Team in Edinburgh on a 3-week locum contract. Offering a competitive hourly rate of £35.00-£38.00, this full-time position is ideal for an experienced physiotherapist looking to expand their expertise within private MSK outpatient services and inpatient orthopaedics. Working Monday to Friday, you'll become part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team while enjoying everything Scotland's capital has to offer.

What you will do:

  • Assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatment for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Manage a caseload of private MSK outpatients alongside inpatient orthopaedic patients.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised rehabilitation programmes to support recovery and maximise functional outcomes.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and treatment records.
  • Educate and empower patients by providing advice on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and post-treatment rehabilitation.
  • Liaise with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
