What You Will Do

  • Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for adults with learning disabilities, creating tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.

  • Provide expert input on posture, mobility, seating, respiratory care, exercise prescribing, and falls prevention.

  • Collaborate as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, working closely with OTs, LD nurses, psychologists, and social care professionals.

  • Offer training, advice, and support to families, carers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.

  • Participate in MDT meetings, safeguarding discussions, and case conferences, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

  • Manage your caseload independently, prioritising effectively and delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in line with Trust guidelines, contributing to audits and service improvement activities.
