What you will do:

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and interventions within acute medicine wards.

  • Assess, treat, and manage acute inpatients to optimise recovery, mobility, and functional independence.

  • Support discharge planning activities, ensuring patients are safely and appropriately discharged from hospital.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.

  • Manage and prioritise a varied caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions.

  • Facilitate patient flow through proactive rehabilitation and discharge planning.

  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
