An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Trauma & Ortho Team in Leicester. This full-time, ongoing locum position offers a competitive rate of £26 per hour and the chance to further develop your expertise within a dynamic NHS setting.

Working across multiple sites, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients recovering from trauma and orthopaedic conditions. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within the Trauma & Ortho team.

• Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans to support recovery and functional independence.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, medical staff, nurses, and wider MDT colleagues across multiple sites.

• Contribute to coordinated discharge planning to ensure safe and timely patient transitions.

Patient & Family Education

• Provide clear guidance and education to patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and therapeutic processes.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with HCPC and NHS standards.

• Adhere to professional guidelines and departmental protocols at all times.
