Salary: Up to £300 Daily
Duration: Ongoing, Part Time

Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist specialising in paediatrics, based in the vibrant borough of Barnet. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £300 and the flexibility of part-time work, allowing you to balance your career with other pursuits. As an essential member of our team, you'll be developing and delivering a specialist paediatric occupational therapy service and managing your own clinical caseload.

What you will do:

- Take responsibility for an engaging clinical caseload, providing assessments, evaluations, and targeted treatments for young clients.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and educational staff to model interventions that support children and young people in various educational settings.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, both standardised and non-standardised, to identify and support sensory needs.
- Develop and enhance your assessment and advisory skills for children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Establish realistic goals with children, young people, parents, and teachers, facilitating the review of outcomes to ensure successful interventions.

Requirements:

- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A valid driving licence is essential, as travel to different educational settings will be required.
- Must have completed Sensory Training
- Recent school experience
- Strong Safeguarding knowledge
