What You Will Do

  • Manage a defined caseload of service users within the Low Secure Service.

  • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised care and treatment plans.

  • Deliver 1:1 and group-based therapeutic interventions focusing on functional skills, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and vocational and community readiness.

  • Contribute to risk assessments, care planning, CPA processes, and MDT reviews.

  • Support service users to progress through rehabilitation pathways towards greater independence and step-down services.

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff.

  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Band 5 OTs, OT assistants, and support staff where required.

  • Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
