With an hourly rate of £26, this full-time locum position offers the chance to dive into an engaging role supporting mental health patients. You will provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and treatment interventions while carrying a complex caseload. This position requires a registered occupational therapist with the HCPC and two years of experience. A driving licence is preferable.

What you will do:

- Perform initial screenings and assessments of service users, administering intensive short-term treatments when suitable.
- Oversee a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based, client-centred principles for interventions.
- Develop case formulations post-assessment to highlight strengths and limitations, guiding the intervention plan.
- Assess and prescribe suitable equipment and aids to bolster patients' safety and independence, providing guidance to staff, families, and carers.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment plans, collaborating with internal teams and third-sector organisations as needed.
- Supervise junior therapy team members and take an active role in service provision and leadership development.
