About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Community Paediatric Team in Bromley. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined paediatric clinical caseload, delivering a high-quality occupational therapy service.

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of children's occupational performance using both standardised and non-standardised methods.

  • Collaborate with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals to provide informed recommendations.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment programmes and intervention strategies.

  • Deliver therapy sessions (individual or group-based) to address functional needs across home, school, and community settings.

  • Assess and recommend small aids and specialist equipment in line with service criteria, including seating, bathing, and toileting aids.

  • Provide written and verbal advice to support children's participation and independence in daily routines.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Demonstrable experience within paediatric occupational therapy.

  • A valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the Bromley community.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical reasoning skills.
