This ongoing locum role involves working within female acute inpatient mental health wards, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs through evidence-based, recovery-focused occupational therapy interventions.

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of female service users with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate group and individual occupational therapy interventions.

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and occupational therapy colleagues to support recovery-focused care.

• Provide leadership and development support to staff, students, and volunteers through supervision and appraisal processes.

• Build and maintain strong links with community services and partner agencies to support early reintegration planning.

• Promote vocational, employment, and meaningful activity pathways as key components of recovery and social inclusion.
