What you will do:

Provide Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions within an acute medicine ward setting.

Assess and treat acute inpatients, focusing on functional ability, independence, and rehabilitation needs.

Develop person-centred treatment plans to maximise recovery and promote safe discharge outcomes.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.

Facilitate discharge planning activities to support patient flow and reduce unnecessary delays.

Assess environmental, functional, and equipment needs to support safe transitions from hospital.

Manage and prioritise a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
