What you will do

  • Diagnostic Imaging: Deliver high-quality general X-ray services across outpatient, inpatient, GP, ED, and theatre settings.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient-centred care while maintaining safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiographers, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Flexible Support: Provide additional cover where required, including occasional evenings, nights, or weekends.
  • Mentorship: Support junior staff and students, sharing knowledge and best practice.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Radiographer.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in general radiography.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.
