What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs.
- Develop, plan, and implement tailored therapy interventions.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
- Engage in complex discharge planning to ensure safe transitions for patients.
- Mentor and support junior staff and Band 5 Occupational Therapists.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Possess a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Demonstrable experience in the UK as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
- Recent NHS experience is essential.
- Registered with the HCPC.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a range of settings, including rehabilitation services.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to person-centred care.
