What you will do:
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver a highly specialised clinical and technical post-mortem service for both paediatric and adult cases.
- Assist pathologists in determining causes of death for cases involving the South Yorkshire Bereavement Partnership, coroners, and hospital requests.
- Provide professional guidance and compassionate support to bereaved relatives and medical staff.
- Supervise, train, and support technical and medical staff to ensure a collaborative and effective working environment.
- Perform routine and advanced tasks within Mortuaries and Post Mortem Suites while maintaining high professional standards.
- Manage the care and transportation of the deceased through Mortuary services in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- Minimum of two years' relevant experience within a similar role.
- A driving licence is preferable but not essential.
