What you will do:

• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver a highly specialised clinical and technical post-mortem service for both paediatric and adult cases.
• Assist pathologists in determining causes of death for cases involving the South Yorkshire Bereavement Partnership, coroners, and hospital requests.
• Provide professional guidance and compassionate support to bereaved relatives and medical staff.
• Supervise, train, and support technical and medical staff to ensure a collaborative and effective working environment.
• Perform routine and advanced tasks within Mortuaries and Post Mortem Suites while maintaining high professional standards.
• Manage the care and transportation of the deceased through Mortuary services in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Minimum of two years' relevant experience within a similar role.
• A driving licence is preferable but not essential.
