What you will do

• Conduct Haematology and Blood Transfusion testing and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with NHS standards, laboratory protocols, and safety regulations.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Work collaboratively with Biomedical Scientists and multidisciplinary teams to support efficient laboratory operations.
• Document, interpret, and report findings accurately for clinical review and patient management.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Support the delivery of timely and reliable diagnostic services across multiple laboratory locations.

Requirements

• HCPC Registration: Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years' NHS experience within Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and diagnostic equipment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Driving Licence: Preferred due to travel requirements between multiple sites.
