This ongoing full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, with a varied rota including routine days (9am-5pm), long days (9am-9pm), and night shifts (9pm-9am). What you will do:

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic investigations within Haematology, Coagulation, and Blood Transfusion departments.

• Operate and maintain Siemens Advia analysers in Haematology, Werfen TOP systems in Coagulation, and Ortho Swift platforms in Blood Transfusion.

• Ensure all laboratory work complies with established procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of laboratory services, including shift and rota-based work.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver accurate, timely results that support excellent patient care.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.

• Proven experience working at Band 6 level within Haematology.

• Competence in Haematology, Coagulation, and Blood Transfusion systems.

• Ability and willingness to work a full shift rota, including long days and night shifts.
