About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Acute Dietitian to join a dynamic clinical team in Bristol. This ongoing locum position offers up to £26 per hour and provides the chance to further develop your acute dietetic expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality nutritional care across a range of clinical areas, with a particular focus on oral and enteral nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dietary advice across a wide range of acute clinical conditions.

• Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored nutritional care plans for patients requiring oral and enteral nutrition support.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient-centred care.

• Monitor and review patient progress, adjusting nutritional interventions as required.

• Educate patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on the role of nutrition in recovery and long-term wellbeing.

• Contribute to service development initiatives and evidence-based practice improvements.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Dietitian.

• Significant hospital-based experience, particularly in oral and enteral nutrition support.

• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.

• Car driver essential to support service delivery across sites.
