Job Purpose:

Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication therapy services to children and young people with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). You'll assess, plan, and deliver tailored interventions that promote communication access and enhance quality of life. Collaborating closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals, you'll help foster inclusive communication environments and drive service excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of children and young people with complex communication needs, including AAC users.

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments covering communication, feeding, and swallowing needs.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans, adapting them as necessary.

  • Promote communication inclusion across schools and community-based settings.

  • Deliver training and coaching sessions for parents, educators, and carers.
