What you will do:
Apply your expertise in bacteriology, including processing wound, genital, and urine cultures.
Utilise advanced analysers such as Maldi-TOF for organism identification and Microscan for MIC sensitivity testing.
Perform accurate plate reading using systems like Adagio.
Ensure compliance with quality standards using the QPulse Quality Management System.
Authorise results in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
Use (or quickly learn) systems such as Winpath Enterprise to support efficient laboratory operations.
Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver high-quality microbiology services.

Requirements:
HCPC registration is essential.
Relevant experience in microbiology, particularly bacteriology, is required.
