What you will do:

  • Accurately prepare, dispense, and supply medicines to inpatients and outpatients.

  • Support medicines reconciliation processes to promote safe and effective medication management.

  • Ensure medicines are dispensed safely and accurately in accordance with prescriptions, Trust policies, and legal requirements.

  • Work alongside pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.

  • Provide advice to patients regarding the safe use of prescribed medicines within your scope of practice.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and support effective inventory management processes.

  • Monitor and order pharmaceutical supplies to ensure continuity of service.

  • Manage controlled drugs in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

  • Participate in aseptic preparation services where applicable.

  • Undertake Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) duties if
