Pay Rate: £27.00-£28.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract: Locum • Ongoing
Hours: Part-time • 3 days per week

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated Mental Health Team in York. This ongoing locum role is ideal for an enthusiastic professional seeking a new challenge within a supportive and dynamic mental health setting. You will be working on a male mental illness ward within a medium secure unit, delivering assessments and interventions in line with the occupational therapy pathway.

What You Will Do:
• Manage and coordinate the delivery of individual occupational therapy treatment plans
• Receive and respond to referrals, completing assessments and prioritising patient needs
• Plan and deliver appropriate interventions on an individual and group basis
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient rehabilitation progress
• Support and manage more junior staff effectively
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure practice aligns with Priory policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards

Requirements:
• Minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience
• Forensic experience desirable but not essential
• HCPC registration is essential
• Experience working within mental health settings
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
