Key Responsibilities

As a Band 5 General Radiographer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a wide range of general radiography imaging procedures with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Operating and maintaining radiography equipment in line with safety standards and departmental protocols.

  • Working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient care.

  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images and contributing to accurate and timely reporting processes.

  • Providing compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the imaging pathway.

  • Ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R, health and safety regulations, and local policies.

  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality assurance and service improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Band 5 General Radiographer.

  • Strong technical skills and sound knowledge of general radiography procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence to support travel between sites.

  • Experience working across multiple clinical settings.
