What you will do
- Laboratory Analysis: Perform duties independently across the Cellular Pathology Department following training and competency assessment.
- Quality Assurance: Follow established procedures, protocols, and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Result Validation: Technically validate results in accordance with departmental guidelines and quality standards.
- Training and Supervision: Support and train colleagues to achieve and maintain required competencies.
- Work Planning: Organise and manage your workload while assisting in coordinating work for junior staff members.
- Professional Communication: Liaise effectively with Pathology staff and respond to external enquiries professionally.
- Professional Development: Undertake post-registration training, including progression towards the IBMS Specialist Diploma.
- Multi-Site Working: Work flexibly across different laboratory locations within the department when required.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
