This role is ideal for a skilled Biomedical Scientist with at least two years of histology experience, looking to further develop their expertise within a supportive and dynamic laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Duties

• Perform microtomy and specimen cut-up procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Prepare and process histological samples to maintain high diagnostic quality standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards and laboratory protocols.

• Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure reliable and accurate results.

Team Collaboration

• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary laboratory team across multiple sites.

• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives and troubleshooting processes.

Laboratory Operations

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.

• Manage laboratory data accurately, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
