We have a thrilling opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 5 Adult Dietitian to join our dynamic team in Croydon. This full-time role offers a chance to work in an acute dietetics environment, servicing both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. Offering a competitive pay rate of up to £24.04 per hour, this contract is set for three months with the possibility of extension. Your work week will consist of sociable working hours, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. What you will do:

  • Provide a specialist dietetic service to medical and care of the elderly wards.
  • Deliver general adult outpatient clinics and IBS group education sessions.
  • Formulate, deliver and review individual dietetic treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Undertake nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based nutritional support to patients.
  • Participate actively in MDT meetings and contribute to effective discharge planning.
  • Offer nutritional advice and guidance to patients, carers, and clinicians.
  • Support patients who are receiving artificial nutritional support.
  • Engage in audits, service development, and quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

  • BSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics.
  • HCPC Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
