Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.
The pay for this position is £23-£28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Job Description:
*The post holder will assess, differentially diagnose, set goals with and treat and manage clients with communication or swallowing disorders.
*The post holder will manage and prioritise their caseload independently.
*The post holder will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment and ensure a seamless pathway from inpatient to outpatient status.
*To work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
*To actively contribute to service development within the areas of stroke, long term neurological conditions & older people services
*To deliver training/teaching to carers, other health professionals and students
JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will assist in the development and provision of Specialist Speech & Language Therapy as an autonomous SLT working within the Adult SLT service.
The service will be provided at community outpatient clinics, within clients own homes, residential homes and nursing homes.
