Administrator - Part Time
Department: Site Support Roles
Employment Type: Permanent - Part Time
Location: Life Works House
Compensation: £13,150 / year
Description
Life Works House is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team. This is a Part Time role (18.75 hours per week)
Flourish is delivered by experienced therapists in a non-medical environment, offering a different option to traditional hospital-based treatment. It's suitable for people who don't need a medical detox or ongoing medical care, but who would benefit from structured therapy, peer support and practical tools to build lasting recovery.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Administrator to join Life Works House Priory. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be confident using Microsoft Office systems and general IT platforms, and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A good understanding of administrative processes, confidentiality, and data protection requirements is essential, along with a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients and colleagues. Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role within a busy environment is required, and experience within a healthcare or residential setting, such as with Priory Group, would be advantageous but not essential.
What we will give you in return
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
