Department: Site Support Roles

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Melton Place

Compensation: £28,500 / year

Description
Priory Melton Place is looking to recruit an administrator to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours based on site.

Priory Melton Place, in Melton Mowbray, is a community-facing facility, which provides an alternative to a hospital setting, whilst still having the expertise to support those with complex and enduring mental health needs.

Our new specialist residential mental health service provides 24 hour nursing care for males and females aged 18 years and above, who may also have a secondary diagnosis of a learning disability.

What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
  • Provides efficient and effective administrative and/or secretarial support to an individual or a department, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.

What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

The role holder should be educated to GCSE level (Grades A-C) or an equivalent standard, with excellent keyboard skills and an intermediate level of proficiency across a standard range of office applications. They should also have at least one year's experience working in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational, or other relevant environment, demonstrating the ability to apply their skills effectively in a professional setting.

What we will give you in return
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
