The Friends Stroke Unit Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Full Time (Flexibility on this), Grade 8a, Maternity Cover
Applications are invited for this fixed term post within the Friends Stroke Unit part of the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, based in Denmark Hill, London. The post is covering the current post holder’s maternity leave.
This post is much valued within the Trust. It provides the ward level neuropsychological input for a stroke unit service involving the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorder. There is an emphasis on team work and also working at different levels both with staff and the relatives of patients. Outpatient work is also a possibility. We are also able to provide QiCN supervision and a range of clinical experience within the wider clinical neuropsychology department.
The post is within the Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Department of Clinical Neuropsychology. We have strong links with the King’s College London Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN) other local clinical neuropsychology services within Kings Health Partners.
Applicants should be registered as clinical psychologists with the Health and Care Professions Council and with some experience of working in clinical neuropsychology.
