Dental Nurse - Band 4

Based at Peace Childrens Centre, Watford

Are you an enthusiastic dental nurse who enjoys learning new skills and working as part of a dedicated team? We have a vacancy with a difference.
The Special Care Dental Service is for Hertfordshire residents who are unable to access oral health care from their local high street dentist, we were rated "outstanding" in patient care by CQC.
We treat patients of all ages who have special needs andalso visit schools and care homes in the area.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a dental nursing qualification
  • Be registered with GDC
  • Have strong experience in dental nursing
  • Have good interpersonal skills to help put patients at ease
  • Have a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
  • Have an additional qualification such as IV Sedation or Oral Health (desirable but not essential as training may be possible)
  • Be required to travel to schools andcare homes orto other clinics in Hertfordshire.
