DigitalHealth.London Accelerator Programme Manager
  • The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator is looking for a Programme Manager to act as a deputy to the Programme Director of this innovative Accelerator programme which provides bespoke support and advice to digital health companies looking to crack the NHS market
  • You'll be uniquely positioned to learn about and influence the adoption of digital technologies within the NHS, for the benefit of patients and the system
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to combine strategic leadership and operational oversight in a growing team that have previously supported companies like DrDoctor, LIVI, Perfect Ward, and Echo.
What you'll do
From collaboratively developing the programme's strategic vision, to overseeing events organisation, no two days will be the same:
  • You'll have responsibility for management of all operational elements of the programme, including: metric monitoring and collection, delivery of our obligations to funding partners, communications, and other programme administration
  • You'll also have budgetary responsibility, ensuring adherence to budgets and compliance with documentation in relation to funding
  • You'll work collaboratively with the Programme Director to develop the programme's strategic vision as it moves into a new phase for the future
  • You'll build excellent relationships, both internally and externally, with the objective of delivering improvements to the programme
  • You'll lead and manage a high-impact team of five, consisting of: Operations Lead, Communications Lead, Compliance Manager, and two Project Support Officers.
Who you are
  • This is a senior role in a fast-paced team, and therefore you will have a high level of personal credibility and the ability to manage complex and multiple relationships
  • A stickler for detail and a proactive problem-solver, you'll be an experienced project manager able to juggle multiple tasks at once, and take your own initiative to make improvements to the way things are run
  • You'll thrive in a team environment and be an excellent manager who can keep their eyes on multiple projects at any one time and keep their team well briefed and supported
  • You'll understand the potential of digital technologies in the NHS and the importance of getting to the root of NHS challenges when proposing new solutions. You will know the NHS well and ideally will have worked for the organisation
  • You'll know first-hand how valuable an effective communications strategy is to an organisation and will have experience working closely with communications colleagues in previous roles
  • It would be a real bonus if you have had exposure to EU funded projects and have insight into the compliance processes

The Accelerator is a part of DigitalHealth.London, a programme aiming to speed up the development and scaling of digital innovations across health and care and pioneer their adoption by the NHS.
The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator aims to speed up the adoption of technology in London's NHS, relieving high pressure on services and empowering patients to manage their health. It works with 20-30 high potential start-ups and SMEs each year, at any stage of the innovation cycle, and supports them to develop and deploy solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the NHS.
The programme is uniquely positioned to provide in-depth knowledge of the NHS and wider UK health and care sector to high potential companies in London to help them refine, develop and scale their innovations.
