Job Description

Spire Regency Hospital, located in Macclesfield; has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join our Bookings teams on a Full-Time basis of 37.5 Hours per week. This is a key role, as our Administrative support teams are often the first point of contact for patients, consultants and staff coming in to the department, so it is essential that you are able to interact with people in a friendly and professional manner.

This is a Full-Time role of 37.5 hours per week; with shifts comprising of 5 per week, with shift patterns between the hours of 07:00 and 21:30 Monday to Sunday, with flexibility for occasional additional cover when required.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for speaking with both patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. The successful candidate will also be heavily involved with the Admission and Discharging of patients onto our in-house computer system ensuring accuracy of all information - for which full training will be provided.  You will be fundamental in various clerical duties; inclusive of but not limited to -checking of bed status reports, booking consultations, issuing badges for visitors and booking transportation.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work 5 shifts per week, as stated above. You will be IT literate and able to learn new systems quickly. You must also have excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience of working as a Receptionist is highly desirable, however, we would consider candidates from a strong customer service background.
