As the Receptionist you will be working closely with our Practice team and patients you'll be the first point of contact for all patients and healthcare personnel visiting the service, organising patient appointments, answering calls and using the clinical system. You'll be organised and able to deal with a range of difficult situations - always demonstrating a sensitive and diplomatic approach.
Working within the admin team, you will work with the service manager, assistant service manager and GP to support the smooth running of the surgery.
We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You'll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You'll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity. The CCC has been rolled out in phases to GPs, which practices Balance street surgery; Northgate surgery; Abbots Bromley and Mill View marking the final phase. This means that from 4th March, all East Staffordshire practices will be able to access multiple services via a single point of contact and a single referral, which represents a key milestone in our Improving Lives contract.
