Occupational Therapist The job is based at Broadmoor Hospital, Crowthorne, Berkshire RG45 7EG.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established, staffed and resourced and respected Occupational Therapy service with patients with a primary diagnosis of personality disorder or mental illness.
The post will be based within the high security forensic environment and offers a great development opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to develop their skills. The hospital will be moving to a new bespoke hospital which will be the most modern high security forensic hospital in the country focusing on innovative care to a challenging and interesting patient group. We have a strong commitment to multi-professional working within the clinical team, focussing on reducing risk and offending behaviours.
We are looking to recruit a resourceful, motivated Occupational Therapist, experienced in mental health (though not necessarily in forensic) who enjoys new challenges.
We offer a number of opportunities including regular supervision, comprehensive CPD packages and the opportunity to be involved in the development of the service.
All staff members take part in a comprehensive induction and there will be opportunities to develop clinical and specialist skills in this area.
The post is located at Broadmoor Hospital, which is located in a beautiful part of Berkshire, easily accessed via both the M3 & M4 motorways.
