An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Band 7) to join the Cardiac Rhythm Management section of the cardiac physiology department.
Royal Papworth Hospital will be joining our campus in April of this year; therefore we have exciting times ahead, with opportunities for cross site working within a tertiary centre.
Candidates will have BHRS accreditation or IBHRE/NASPE exam and a minimum of three years post BSc (or equivalent) qualification experience. The successful candidate will work on a rotational basis between the wards, devices clinic and the angiocatheter suite. You will manage your own daily case-load and assist in the development of all areas of the cardiac rhythm management service.
We have a long running affiliation with the national school of healthcare science and as such promote the training of undergraduate and post graduate staff within modernising scientific careers.
We are looking to attract a candidate who will be able to motivate, develop and facilitate training of junior members of staff in conjunction with the other Band 7 Physiologists. Applicants are required to have good organisational skills and excellent interpersonal skills and will be required to work as part of a team in this busy department. In return we are able to offer access to training and development opportunities and a wide variety of procedures.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary
