We are offering an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical team. Our Pharmacy Technician clinical team provide outstanding services to critical care, the emergency department and inpatient wards. As a tertiary centre, our specialist wards include respiratory, cardiology, neurology, transplant, haematology, oncology and paediatrics. This essential role provides the opportunity for committed Pharmacy Technicians to put their skills into practice, working with innovative technology and systems, whilst also continuing to build further skills for future career progression. You will participate in the medicines reconciliation process, supply of medication during inpatient stay, support effective & timely discharge and patient counselling.
As a senior member of the Clinical Technician Team, you will participate in the day to day management of clinical staff, responding to the needs of the organisation, facilitating and supporting patient flow throughout the hospital. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician Team also provide and deliver training, undertake clinical audit and service evaluations, contributing to service planning and development.
We provide excellent education and development opportunities including, national recognised accreditations in Medicines Reconciliation, Medicines Management and Accuracy Checking, with further Leadership training also available. We are looking for highly motivated registered Pharmacy Technicians with excellent organisational skills, able to work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy in all aspects of technical pharmacy.
