Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a recovery support worker to fill a job role in Barnstaple, Torquay, or Exeter. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health recovery practices.
Working with a private crisis drop-in service, in this role you would be required to support patients with mental health issues, ensure that recovery goals are met, engage in community events/ meetings, and to encourage service users to recognise, understand and manage factors that affect their mental health.
The pay rate or this permanent recovery support worker job is £16,858 per annum pro rata and is a part time contract to start asap.
This role is part time and would be between 18 hours - 24 hours per week (Evenings: 6pm - 12 midnight).
Requirements and details of this recovery support worker vacancy:
*You must have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent
*You must have awareness/ experience of working with people who have mental health issues
*You must have experience working within a crisis environment
*You must be able to work independently and as part of a team
*You must have skills in managing caseloads
