We have an exciting new opportunity for a Medicines Management Technician to join our Patient Safety Team based within our Burton based head office.
Working within the Patient Safety Team you will operate the patient safety incident reporting and learning system as part of the Healthcare at Home Quality and Non-Conformance System and preparing reports to patients, clinical referring centres, regulators and other stakeholders.

What does a Medicines Management Technician do at healthcare at home?
* Review of patient safety incidents to understand the events that took place and root causes
* Where necessary, provide operational departments with help and support to identify root causes and develop corrective and preventative actions to minimise the risk of similar incidents occurring in the future
* Coding and investigation of patient safety incidents via the CRM system for reporting and learning as part of the Healthcare at Home Quality and Non-Conformance System
* Effectively handle issues or complaints within scope of training. Escalate issues where needed in line with departmental procedures
* Identify develop and promote safe practice in all areas of business
* Improve understanding of patient safety and clinical incident reporting and learning culture throughout the business
Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
As well as having previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a clinical environment, you will be a Qualified Pharmacy Technician with NVQ 3 or BTech in Pharmaceutical Science and registered with the GPhC.
You will be able to cope well under pressure and have a strong ability to prioritise and work within a fast paced environment, whilst being patient focused and passionate about delivering excellence.
