Are you an experienced Dietitian looking for a part time position in a hospital setting. Do you have experience and a special interest in surgery, orthopaedics and older people’s medicine? If so Barts Health is offering a position which would support both your clinical and leadership development. Whipps Cross University hospital (WCUH) is now recruiting a motivated and dynamic individual to join our friendly team of inpatient Dietitians in the heart of the East London serving a hugely diverse population.
This post offers a great variety of experience in the management of patients as well as giving the post holder the opportunity to prepare the ground for future developments in the orthopaedic plans of Barts Health. As a Dietitian developing your skills there will be a well supported leadership element of the post including line management of junior team members, supervision, student training and service development. Research and audit are key in providing excellence in care and the Dietetic Team at Barts Health have an active audit programme to which all staff contribute.
Whilst this post will be situated and working closely with all Therapies and members of the multidisciplinary team at WCUH you will have colleagues at other sites of the Barts Health NHS Trust with whom you will work collaboratively to develop the Barts Health dietetic service. With the breadth of specialities across the hospital sites this post offers excellent support as well as opportunities to learn and develop other clinical skills. We also have a well-established and highly respected Nutrition Support Team with whom the post-holder will work closely.
We are committed to work based education and training to improve clinical skills and there is a robust system in place for staff supervision and CPD.
- Valid HCPC registratio
- Special interest and Experience in Surgery, Orthopaedics and Older People’s Medicin
- Excellent MDT working and communication skills
