Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust(AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

Hazel unit are currently in a position to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare assistant to join our highly specialist and dedicated Multidisciplinary team based at Callington Road Hospital in Bristol.
Hazel unit is a 12 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for male adults of working age who are suffering from severe episodes of mental illness, requiring enhanced levels of care and support.
Working on a PICU is both incredibly challenging and rewarding; this post will offer to the right candidate a very valuable experience in dealing with some of the most complex cases in psychiatry.
